Capital Mill awarded its namesake scholarship for the second year in a row

Last week, we awarded our namesake scholarship for the second time, and this year’s recipient is Tekla Liisa Vilberg, a master’s student at Tallinn University of Technology. Congratulations!

Tekla Liisa stood out with her thoughtful and comprehensive approach, focusing on sustainable solutions to make both new buildings and renovations more environmentally friendly—starting from the early stages of planning and design. Her work also explored the concept of a green quarter, a vision we at Capital Mill are pursuing in cooperation with the City of Tallinn in the development of the new Maakri district. In addition, she emphasized the importance of green certification systems, which we also consider essential for promoting sustainability.

The Capital Mill scholarship is valued at €3,000 and is awarded to an outstanding master’s student in the School of Engineering at Tallinn University of Technology. The scholarship is administered through the university’s Development Fund.

We are proud to support future engineers who are shaping tomorrow’s urban spaces with intelligence and responsibility!
