Today, on September 11, Capital Mill celebrated the topping-out ceremony of its residential development at Telliskivi 8, marking the milestone of the building reaching its full structural height. Located on the border of Pelgulinn and Kalamaja, this modern housing project will offer 12 contemporary homes by early next year.
“The topping-out ceremony is a significant milestone in any construction project. We are pleased that the Telliskivi 8 development is progressing on schedule, and we will soon be able to offer high-quality new homes in one of Tallinn’s most sought-after neighbourhoods,” said Taavi Kiisk, Head of Construction at Capital Mill.
“Telliskivi 8 offers the best of urban living – just steps away from Telliskivi Creative City, Balti Jaam market, restaurants, and art galleries,” Kiisk added. Telliskivi 8 is a unique development that blends the character of the area with modern architecture and comfortable living. The street-facing building is being fully renovated, while a brand-new structure is rising in the courtyard – providing a variety of layouts for different lifestyles and family needs.
The new development includes a private courtyard with greenery, a parking area, and a playground. A covered bike shelter adds extra convenience for those who cycle regularly.
“Telliskivi 8 has already attracted strong interest during the pre-sale phase – larger and more spacious apartments have been especially popular among families. As of today, only three apartments remain available in the courtyard building, which demonstrates the positive reception of the project on the market,” Kiisk noted. “Additionally, it’s currently a favorable time to buy – banks are offering more flexible terms, and interest rates are at their lowest in recent years.”
Construction at Telliskivi 8 began in March 2025, with completion scheduled for January 2026. The buildings are being constructed by Remart Ehitus OÜ in cooperation with development partner DVF Estate OÜ.
